Once upon a time in the medieval castle of Limassol, there lived a kind and playful
dragon named Draco.
One beautiful spring morning, whilst Draco was walking through the flowering gardens,
he saw a large butterfly with the most amazing patterns and colours .
He was so intrigued, he had to follow the butterfly to see it up close.
They flew around one after the other over the hedges and bushes, across the pond and
fountains and through the trees, until suddenly the butterfly disappeared into what
seemed to be a tunnel with a small stone opening.
Draco followed the butterfly and then could not believe his eyes. The tiny entrance
opened up into an enormous cave where hundreds of butterflies and bees were busy
working, making the most exquisite sweets and candies.
In the center, there was a small volcano which oozed rich milk chocolate on one side and
creamy white chocolate on the other.
The walls shimmered with nuggets of glistening toffee like stars in the night sky. There
were marshmallow trees in all colours, leaning over a melted caramel river, as though
trying to bathe in it’s sweet embrace.
As Draco stood fascinated by everything he saw around him he suddenly felt an icy
drizzle. As he looked up a cloud of sweet vanilla ice cream flew by chasing a rainbow
waffle, which in it’s haste had begun to melt.
Draco could not resist trying all these wonderful sweets, and of course they tasted even
better than he could ever have imagined.
He was absolutely intoxicated by the marvelous scents and sites inside the cave.
Draco wanted to share this incredible experience with his human friends.
He wanted others to feel as happy and contented as he did that day.
Inspired by the beautiful butterflies and bees Draco begins making his own wonderful
creations.
And so the story begins………… and Draco’s sweet shop is created
